Job Description

Hiring Hub is currently seeking an entry level Human Resource Benefits Administrator for a fast-paced large organization.

 

Duties:

• Stays abreast of all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.

• Administers company benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and all other voluntary benefits.

• Facilitates and provides administrative support within the benefits function.

• Manages and tracks reports of Incidents/Accidents for General Liability claims.

• Manages Workers’ Compensation benefits. Communicating with employees, managers, and

insurance adjusters to ensure that injured employees’ claims are appropriately reported and

submitted.

• Send out monthly 401K eligibility communication.

• Processes employee separations/discharges and communicates benefits, or vacation to Payroll.

• Reviews and processes performance reviews.

• Review and designation of FMLA and Informal employee leave.

• Responsible for reconciliation of monthly benefits.

• Compiles recon reports, monthly eligibility benefits, and incident reports.

• Audits of new hire WC codes and accruals.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and work under stressful conditions. Tolerate a reasonable amount of

stress.

• Must be adept to problem solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them in a

timely manner

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and can exhibit empathy towards employees and

customers

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both written and orally, as to communicate with

employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings

• Must be able to efficiently read and interpret information, present numerical data in a

resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information

• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently

• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality

• Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and HRIS

• Associate degree in HR and/or 1-2 years of HR admin or related field experience required

• Uphold all principles of confidentiality to the fullest extent.

• Adhere to professional and ethical behavior standards.

• Maintain a current insurable driver’s license.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
